1. We require a full impression of each ear that must include the full helix, crus of the helix, tragus and

antitragus.

IMPORTANT: The impression MUST be taken completely beyond the second bend of the ear canal.

2. Use only high viscosity silicone impression material when making the impression. For best results please use

‘Westone Pink’ Silicast.

3. Open mouth type impressions are not required, however a 1-2 inch bite block is recommended to reduce

jaw movement. It is important that the patient’s jaw remain still in order to yield a fit with an optimal seal.

4. The following images are meant for reference purposes only. We will not accept impressions that are already pre-trimmed. Impressions must include all listed areas to be usable for custom in-ear monitors.

Keep normal sitting posture, and relax your face.

Please do not open and close your jaw in the whole process, do not talk. Having your mouth open for extended periods of time without being able to swallow may induce a severe drooling effect. Take out the bite block and impressions after the injection solidified (usually takes about 5 minutes).

If your monitors are intend to listening to the music, grip 1cm thickness bite block with your tooth (approximately the thickness of one finger) when get the impressions; if you are a singer or bandsman, grip 1.5cm thickness bite block with your tooth when get the impressions.

If forget to grip the bite block with your tooth or feel too loose or not deep enough, please require to get impressions once again.

Put it in a hard-shell box with some tissue for buffering during the shipment.
